Philip R. Cameron is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of SPARTA, responsible for all aspects of business development.
His responsibilities include production and development of specialty and alternative risk programs for customers in the United States, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, and other captive domiciles. Mr. Cameron has particular expertise in group captive structures.
Prior to joining SPARTA, Mr. Cameron was Senior Marketing Executive at Discover Re. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (with Honors) from Hamilton College. He is a member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society (CPCU), Target Markets Program Administrators Association, Captive Insurance Companies Association and Vermont Captive Insurance Association. Mr. Cameron is a regular presenter and writer for insurance conferences and periodicals. His interests include politics and golf. Mr. Cameron serves on the board of directors of The North Hatley Club, Canada and is involved with Project Renewal, a not-for-profit institution based in New York City.
