Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Dawne E. Ware is co-founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SPARTA, responsible for all financial functions of the company. Ms. Ware is a member of the Credit Committee.

Prior to founding SPARTA, Ms. Ware was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Discover Re. Ms. Ware began her career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse in the Northeast Insurance Services practice and subsequently worked as Financial Reporting Manager for Phoenix Equity Planning Corporation and Assistant Treasurer of the Phoenix Funds. Ms. Ware started her insurance company career as Controller at Discover Re where she held positions of increasing responsibility including Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations and Corporate Secretary prior to being named CFO.

Ms. Ware has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairfield University and is a certified public accountant. She is active in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life and her interests include music, boating, and skiing.
