Chief Executive Officer for SunGard

Andrew A. Stern is Chief Executive Officer for SunGard Availability Services.  Prior to joining SunGard, Mr. Stern served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of USinternetworking, Inc., acquired by AT&T in 2006.  Mr. Stern was Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning and Reinsurance Operations at USF&G Corporation, acquired by The St. Paul Companies in 1998. Mr. Stern began his career as a management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton, where he was a partner.

Mr. Stern has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. 

Mr. Stern serves as Vice Chairman of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and is a Director of Fishman Flooring Solutions.
