Neil T. Putman is Senior Vice President of Customer Operations for SPARTA, responsible for all operations attendant to due diligence, external audit, and customer servicing of SPARTA’s program administrators, third party claim administrators, and other core service providers.
Prior to joining SPARTA as part of the initial management team responsible for launching the company, Mr. Putman was Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Operations at AmTrust Group. Mr. Putman began his career as a certified public accountant for Deloitte & Touche. He entered the insurance industry as an auditor for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company where he held various financial management positions including AVP of commercial claims finance. Subsequently, he was CFO for Jenkins Athens Insurance Services and Vice President of Finance for Alea Alternative Risk where he conceived and developed the customer operations department.
Mr. Putman has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and a Master’s of Science in Accounting/Information Systems from the University of Colorado. He is a certified public accountant and has the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance designations. His interests include kayaking, current events, and cross country skiing.
