Beth N. Terrell is Senior Vice President and Chief Regulatory Compliance Officer of SPARTA, responsible for regulatory and governmental affairs for the company.
Prior to joining SPARTA as part of the initial management team responsible for launching the company, Ms. Terrell was Lead Counsel, New England Region, Nationwide Insurance. She began her career as an attorney in general practice in Connecticut. Ms. Terrell entered the insurance industry as a claims attorney for Nationwide Insurance and was subsequently Assistant General Counsel for Blue Ridge Insurance Company and later Chief Compliance Officer at Discover Re.
Ms. Terrell has a Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from the University of Connecticut. Ms. Terrell is admitted to the bar in Connecticut. Her interests include gardening, hiking, classic movies, and reading.
