Susan B. Putterman is Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer at SPARTA, responsible all claims functions of the company.
Prior to joining SPARTA as part of the initial management team responsible for launching the company, Ms. Putterman was the Executive Vice President of Claims at Discover Re. Ms. Putterman began her career as an insurance and reinsurance analyst for Crum & Forster Managers and was subsequently Senior Director of Claims for Continental Reinsurance Company.
Ms. Putterman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Emory University and studied at Oxford University, England. She is a member of the Town of West Hartford Insurance Advisory Board and her interests include theatre, current affairs, and interior design.
