Claim Administration Services

SPARTA's Claim Department is responsible for evaluating and approving third party claim administrators (TPA) who provide claims handling services on an unbundled basis. An extensive due diligence process assesses the organizational, operational and technical capabilities of proposed providers with the objective of maintaining long term business relationships with a limited number of high quality TPAs.

SPARTA's claim handling guidelines and best practices are set forth in servicing agreements whose deliverables are monitored for key statistics and ratios, augmented by an active audit practice. This layered oversight is the foundation for ongoing program and TPA performance management.
